This quick and easy recipe for crispy popcorn chicken is sure to please even the stingiest of appetites.
Breading
Mix all dry ingredients well in a large container, preferably one that has a lid.
Egg Wash
Beat together.
Use 1lb chicken thighs and cut into chunks, salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Place a few pieces of chicken in egg wash and then into breading mixture and close with lid and shake until it is coated well. Repeat with remainder of chicken.
Place coated chicken onto a greased tray and cook for 20 minutes. If you like a crispier chicken, then broil for 1-2 minutes.
Serve on salads or as is with your favorite condiment!
*Air Fryer: We love our air fryer so if you opt to cook your chicken this way then set the temperature at 400 degrees and cook for 10-12 minutes.
*Other Options: Feel free to change up the seasonings of your choice. You can do oregano, basil, parsley, paprika, or poultry seasoning.
