Hummus With Collagen

Hummus With Collagen

1 15 oz can of chickpeas (if you boil the chickpeas for 20 minutes before using it will  make your hummus more creamy!)
1/3 cup of tahini
2 tablespoons of olive oil
3 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
1 freshly squeezed lemon
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1 tsp sea salt
1/4 cup ice cold water as needed
Add collagen, tahini, olive oil, 2 tablespoons ice cold water, lemon juice, salt, and cumin in a food processor or blender (like Vitamix/Blendtec)
Puree until smooth
Add in chickpeas and and puree again.  Remember to scrape down the sides.  Add ice cold water as needed if consistency is to thick.
Sprinkle with sea salt, paprika, and freshly chopped parsley for garnish!
Serve with warm pita bread, red peppers, cucumbers, celery, or sesame crackers!
